My name is Tony Terry I was born on April the 15th 1959 in Little Rock Arkansas. I am a sinner SAVED BY GRACE I was Born Again in 1972 at Avalon Ave. Missionary Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals Alabama.
I was adopted By the Rev. T.D. Terry and his wife Ann Terry. I was raised in Arkansas until I was ten years old, then moved to Muscle Shoals Alabama for almost five years, then to Jacksonville Florida in 1974.
I graduated from Ed White High School in Jacksonville in 1977. I worked fulltime in the Youth & Bus Ministries in Gainesville, Hampton, and Melrose Florida.
I was raised in Church, sang in Junior Church, Youth Choirs, Adult Choirs, to Duets, Trio's, and Solo's. I was the Music Minister at South East Baptist in Jacksonville for seven years. Now I am the Music Minister of Paran Baptist Church. I moved to Tallahassee to live with my Father the Rev. T. D. Terry whom is terminally ill.
My first Solo in Church was the Song "HIS NAME IS WONDERFUL" when I was ten years old.While Singing in the Adult Choir I was teased about how much my Voice sounded like Elvis Presley. Members would ask me where was my Blue Suede Shoes, and where did I park my Pink Cadalliac??
I have raised thousands of dollars for Disabled Children. I have sung infront of crowds as large as 10,000, and then to those as small as one at cancer wards for the terminally ill. The Holy Spirit convicted me that I needed to move above the Grand Openning Concerts, Conventions, Trade Shows, and Road Tours to a "HIGHER CALLING".
I am still a Tribute Artist.....yet now the main focus is TRIBUTE'S TO JESUS!!!!! Now back in the Lord's will I am Singing "HIS NAME IS WONDERFUL", "BEULAH LAND", "I BOWED ON MY KNEE'S AND CRIED HOLY" just to name a few.
Millions of Elvis Fans purchased the Gospel Albums years ago with their Favorite Gospel Songs that have never met JESUS. They have never asked Jesus to forgive them of their sins, never invited Jesus into their hearts.
This group will come out for the Memories of the Gospel Songs to a Church Concert, and it's our Prayers that when they leave the Concerts that they leave with JESUS IN THEIR HEARTS!!!!
I weighed 315 pounds had three heart attacks and a stroke. On Oct. 28th 2013 I had a Quadruple Heart Bypass at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. I now weigh 190 pounds and in "CONCERTS 4 CHRIST I want to share JESUS with others through MUSIC!!!!
God has put a woman in my life, after losing Kathleen I was so empty. I married Laura Bottenhorn and she works with me in the New Music Ministry.
As "Tony Aron" I have been able to take Gospel Music beyond the walls of the Church House in front of Church Members out in the open world outside of the Church.
To the Malls, Parks, Fairs, Ball Games, Dinner Shows, Birthday Parties, Restaurants, Radio Stations, Television Stations, Trade Shows, Conventions, Hospitals, Rehab Centers, Jails,with Elvis singing over 60 Gospel Songs, and Gospel Songs were his only Grammy Hits every crowd loves the Gospel Songs.
